Front Brake Cooling Ducts

Ok, so my better half had a bump last night in her MINI Countryman. Thankfully, BMW build them like tanks & both her & my daughter are fine, as is everyone else involved. However, the wee Citreon didn't fair so well.

After taking some pics for insurance, I noticed the grille was broken & hanging off so as the car is still driveable I hauled it off & the brake ducts came out with it.

I've offered them up to the openings on my R's bumper & it's near enough plug & play. A little fettling with the Dremel & they'll be perfect. They direct the air right to the disc so should be a reasonably worthwhile mod B-)

I can see MINI aftermarket sales increasing lol.

Outer section will be trimmed to fit. You can see inner ducting behind it.

I've got a decent contact at our local stealer, I'll ask next time I'm in.

The flexible ducting is an option, but can be restricted with FMIC piping there. These hard pipes actually fit around my FMIC piping nicely.

It's mainly a track car & has AP 4 pots & Carbotech pads, the brakes are good but it's always good to help them.

Hi Jack, the car is currently stripped down for a refresh so these aren't fitted yet. Will post pics once I've rebuilt it.
