Checked fitment today. Fronts look the same, however as expected the rears are different. The brackets for the drop link and brake pipe is different but the think that really concerned me was that the shock body was thinner.

Yes those rears are no good & look like 45mm bodies in that picture.
Standard is 50mm body tube. The KYB rears I seen used are 4x4 model ones.
You would be best looking at Insert conversion into your current struts, more expensive but better results plus rebuild/servicable with likes of Bilstien.

where would I find out how to get an insert conversion done?
Can be done with koni (if still available) & bilstien. Bilstien B6 popular as more specialists about who can revalve, shorten, rebuild them & inverted cartridge system they use can work with the sealed GTiR struts (50mm body tubes). You can get them with blank rods so can machine to suit specific top mounts if none standard.
Any decent motorsport type company that can rebuild Bilstien & have knowledge on them should be able to help. Should be quite a few around in UK.
Not that cheap & expect UK labour on rebuild/valving could be high but totally serviceable & huge improvement over standard struts.

Looks like the part numbers I posted are only correct in terms of mounting points but may not be proper diameter body and shaft...are you looking for a performance shock? I hope not at this price point. If you are just looking for replacement I'm sure this will suit you fine.

334045 and 334046 are the proper 51 mm diameter but not the proper mounting points....take your pic.

I Have run a set of b13 AGX shocks with factory springs for years and even done some autox with them and they suited me fine.

Your other option is to go with the more expensive Ultra SR shock which will give you the proper diameter but probably not the proper mounting points at they cross to all the fwd b13/n14.
