Well i put the Diff in my car and to be honest, its not improved the handling at all. Whenever i go around a hard corner it rolls across the footwell and hits the passenger door wing. Ive tried it in the back of the car but it hits the spare wheel. The noise it makes is quite deafening and it scares me it might damage the inside of my car. What if i crash, it might come flying and hit me. Maybe it just makes you a safer driver having a diff in your car. But front or back makes no noticable difference to the handling. Even tried it in the center behind the drivers seat with no success.

Sorry mate, I'm new here and I'm unsure of the proper etiquette.
With that in mind, I'll ask a more to the point question:-

Donuts.....Jam, or jam with creme?

its a front diff so no good putting it in the back of the car!

I thought it went under the bonnet tho? theres a big space on top of the gearbox ;)

just tried the glovebox but the long bit sticks out and it wont shut propperly. do i need to stick a gearknob on the end of the shaft? will that help?

I dont think so.

Ive heard people talk about diff lock tho so maybe a chubb or yale lock goes on the end of the shaft?

brilliant, so thats what im doing wrong. Will this then transform the handling for me? does the rubber knob catch on the road when cornering to reduce understeer somehow? Am i best just leaning out of the window when cornering and letting it catch on the road?
