Just had a go at fitting my Z32 Maf,

Prob is that its shows 3.03 Volts at Key, the standard Maf shows .5 Volts

When i try to start the car i get loads of black smoke, and it wont run
Is the Maf Dead, or have I made a common error when connecting it ?

check that the conector wires are the right way around as this will give the wrong reading.

Didnt mean to afend you  :D but you have to ask the silly things first.

No probs dude, I'll check the connections, ( I prob am that stupid ;)
z32 maf has 2 ground wire's , 1x12V-In and 1xoutput 0-5 Volt.

It is a Z32 turbo Maf, 700cc Injectors, Turns out its could be the instructions in the "How To " is incorrect ?
As I found another set of instructions, and the two orange pair, were back to front.

Now all working fine :)
And sound Very nice with the bigger intake pipe run .

, Thanks

dont forget to adjust the injector % and lag time for your injectors otherwise your base map will be way out.

Thanks

so which are the right fitting instrucitons for the z32 maf?
are the instructions on the "how to" any good?
i also found another set of fitting instructions, which is a bit different!!
the one posted in the "how to", coonect the 2 ground wires toghether, while the other instructions i got they run one wire to the harness ground, and another to a chassis ground

which is the right one?
