uprated turbo ???

can u get an uprated bigger turbo to fit directly in the place where the standard one sits, if so which one would fit would want a hybrid roller bearing turbo but i would like the turbo to be a bit bigger any suggestions ??

Hi I have a JGY BB 37 R that fit's right on the standard manifold but you can also get the next one down BB 37 that's good for a little over 400bhp
but for both these turbo's you would need to alter the R's outlet pipe's a bit to make it fit ok. (but it's an easy mod).

Go for the md214 which is pretty much a direct fit and is good for 400bhp but is supposed to be no laggier than standard 8)

The MD214 is the same size externally as the standard T28 but I opened mine up and the compressor and turbine wheels are much bigger and the housings are machined to suit.Is easily modified to fit.
