tinting paint

has anybody else had trouble with spraying paint - but only when it is tinted with small amount of white - sprays okay but then when flatted and polished has white flecks in, and yes it was stirred. Where can I get paint tested, any ideas

Sounds like the paint is either not mixed thoroughly enough, or contaminated with white particles. Try putting it through a fine paint strainer. What colour is the paint? I'm assuming you've bought it ready mixed, if so take it back to where you got it and get it exchanged.

firstly thanks for answering.mixed paint really well,strained through a 90
micron paper filter.in gravity feed gun also a 90 micron strainer.the jes
2pack top coat,was tinted with about .6 of a gram of concentrated white,
i used to work for the company who supplied the paint asa technical rep.
they say that the paint was tested and nothing found wrong,exept they tested the same batch no,not the contaminated paint.also when i was working for said company,a customer had the same problem with white flecks after it being tinted to lighten the grey.
