throttle bodies

i hyave removed the throttle bodies to my gti-r and will port them a bit.
will i have to replace all the gaskets or not?
i found a small pipe on the TB...it has no connectios and i don't see any hose where to connect it.
this pipe comes out diagonally from the last body, the one on the right (if you look at it from the front)
what is this?will i have to close it? i think it should be colesed
any info much appreciated
