Still Not Able To Get The Oil Filter On

Hi Guys/girls

Still unable to fit the mocal oil cooler kit...

the filter just will not fit past the steering arm when located on the mocal plate...

are people using a different oil filter other than gtir one...

anyone explain how to get it on with out having to purchase a relocation kit...

are you using a micra oil filter which is the same as gtir?

^^ what blobby said. You'll need a micra jobbie as they're much shorter than say a 200SX item.

not sure i got it from the oilman on this site a puralator i believe for the gtir, is that the same as a micra then

We took a couple of threads off the fitting that comes with the sandwich plate, using a lathe, so that the standard oil filter would still fit.

a standard filter should still fit, its a bit tight going on, but once its screwed tight it wont touch the rack

if you want to keep using a Nissan filter you'll need a 15208-70J00

That looks smaller than the one i've got on mine?! :noidea:

I need a new one, so I'm better off getting the micra one for ease of fitment. Stumo, was that product code for the smaller one?
