Standard GTiR Engine

Right, time has come to start engine hunting for my project (SR20DET into a Primera!)

I need more or less the complete engine appart from:

Turbo/exhaust manifold
Gearbox/clutch (would still like flywheel though)
Wiring harness

Sensors would be ideal, so would water/pas/alt - however i will most prob be getting new units for these anyway so not 100% required..

I would like to see/hear it running with fairly good history. I am planning on a "simple freshen up" rebuild - not after something that needs a massive overhall..

In in Chorley, Lancashire but am willing to travel a bit for a good engine

LMAO, come Sunday there will only be an empty shell.

It has no engine in it and i'm stripping it for spares.

hhmm - im after an engine - im holding off buying buts for the engine till I get it so i can see exactly what i need...

You will need a Primera flywheel.Gti-R one won't work.
I bought mine,with a drag clutch from these www.jgycustoms.com/serg20/clutch.htm as the drag clutch will take 500lbs torque....you won't find a UK Primera clutch that'll take that.
Hoping to get mine up and running for next summer....see you at the summer shows.

yeah - i want the flywheel so i can go to a machine company and say i want the primera flywheel with the GTiR Bolt holes... - just to compare the differences really - no biggy if i dont find an engine with a flywheel

Just awaiting a reply from Rossdj1983 about his engine....
