Couple of problems that have recently arisen on my R
.
Firstly I get a slight misfire when the car is idling. Also when you raise the revs to 3000, it misfires a bit as well. When you are actually driving, there is not misfire and the car drives smoothly at all revs.
I have replaced the Distributor Cap, Rotor Arm, Spark Plugs, Power Transistor (Igniton Module) and Coil with New Nissan Items.
I'll be replacing the leads with Magnecor KV85's and changing the Fuel Filter as well. Any other ideas what could cause this?
Secondly, the boost does not hold at 1 BAR. It is being controlled by a bleed valve. Sometimes it reaches 1 BAR and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it hits one bar, then drops to 0.8 or 0.7. The boost level also varies from gear to gear but has never gone above 1 BAR. Any opnions on this?
