revs drop/fuel cut?

after not having any luck with my last post i'l try again. any help would be appreciated as always.
here i go...when driving my r and put my foot down, it boosts as normal to about 5000-6000rpm then the revs just drop right back like someone putting my brakes on. realy is annoying now and i am just after some advice for if i can do or check anything myself before i take it to the garage? someone must have experienced something similar, tried a search but nothing seems relevant.

Sounds like the car is still limited.

good point but i dont think it is, iv only ever had this problem once and that was before my engine rebuild. its normaly ok and revs to the limit. iv had allnew plugs and leads on it etc too

Try checking the fuel pump and filter. maybe just get a walbro and a new filter. Will cost less than £100 in total.
Get the walbro 255 from ebay and the filter from anywhere.

iv already got an uprated pump in it mate, had installed at hiteq in wigan not so long ago, had a service too.
