Removing Gauge Pods on Dash, help please?

Hey guys, the previous owner of my R had fitted a guage pod which im not too keen on, so i was wondering if any of you guys have any tips on how to get this off without making a mess of the dash, (if its not already messed up) it seems like its stuck on with some black silicone. any chemicals or anything i can use to help get my nice clean dash back?

there gonna be some holes in the dash as least as the guages will need wires.hoses to each one........i think its gonna leave a mess whatever way you get them off..... if it is just black silcone it will be easy just to pull it off

like jimmy say about the holes could be a problem .try warming the edges with a hair dryer and seeing if it will peel away ?. i mean warming not melting .
