ok, the rear diff is leaking slightly and i'm looking at a remedy soon.

i got the degreaser out and gave it a clean and saw the bolts at the back.

do these pop off and reveal a gasket which has degraded? if so, do nissan do a replacement.

also, if this is the case, where do i fill it back up with fluid (redline/silkolene)

cheers guys :D

My rear diff had a paper gasket, I made one out of card and it hasn't leaked since. The filler plug is on the right hand side (looking from the rear) at the top. You will probably need a pipe or something to fill it, I borrowed on of those oil syringes to pump it in.

I hope this helps, I can't remember if you can get the back off with the diff still in the car though.
