My final Wheel Bearing Question

Right I have managed to get a new wheel bearing for 25 quid rather than paying Nissan's stupid price.

I have been told I still need to buy the seal from Nissan. How much is this?

Also do I need anything else or is the bearing and the seal everything I need.

It might be worth checking to see if your cv boot/ball joints are ok as you're going to be at a point where you could change them as well if you wanted. Do you have all the tools (grease for seal?) you'll need?

The B.R.T. Premier wheel bearing kit, part number BRT1417 comes with the seal, grease and I think a new hub nut, its only around the 25/30 quid mark too. 8)

access to a hydraulic press may be handy for getting the new bearings into the hub,
as I recall from doing the ones on my old sunny its a bit tight

Have a mate with a hydraulic press so I am sorted in that respect.

Its getting the ball joint and the CV joint checked this weekend as well.
