Idle speed??

Just a quick question to all you knowledgable people whats the idle tickover meant to be on a standard "R"??

Mine sits at 960 when its all warmed up. Out of interest, how many 'idle points' are there when the engine is cold? Mine seems to go 1450 first off, then drop to 1340, 1130 and then 960. Does everyone elses do this sort of thing? (Sorry for the thread hijack :s )

mine sits as wherever it ****ing well wants to, depends what mood the car is in :D

Mine sits at about 1.5k on start-up, and around 1k once warm.

so i guess mine shouldn''t be sitting at 1750 when warm then!! maybe thats why the fuel consumption is so high!!

mines just does what it wants too... lmao.

Sites about 1K ish when warm.
