how many uk spec Rs left?

How many uk spec Rs left? Why is it that i only get Northern ireland potential buyers? Shouldnt the uk specs be easier to sell? Im still thinking about selling up , but theirs voices telling me no youl regret it. Would it be a good move to opt out for a year or so in order to get better 3 for an R, as at the moment it seems to be a buyers market and the countrys been flooded with them, how many gtirs were made? its like they dont stop coming!

I'm selling my white uk spec R soon so we'll see what happens :?

Its in far better condition than most the imports i've seen and its got loads of service history and thousands of £££ worth of reciepts so i wouldnt let it go for less than 5k :wink: But with the amount of cheap pulsars about these days i'd be surprised if it sells :roll:

i think now wont be a good time as the matrkets flooded with cheap imports, hence effecting the price of a gtir! hold out like me.

I'd like a UK in white.

My friend bought one about 6 years ago, had a few nice mods (white, chargecooler, hks bov, pacific motorsport exhaust, quickshift, 17" seneka's, etc) All the mods were done years before that too. He paid £7500 for it IIRC, the people he bought it off had it up for sale at £12,000 and had paid more than that for it (it was about when the imports flew in) The arse dropped out of them while the prev owner had it up for sale.

The previous owner sold a well modded Escort cossie to buy the Pulsar and they were similar money then, it's funny that the cossie is prob worth more (or the same) now and the pulsar is worth nothing :(

I can remember going in it for the first time before he bought it, the sound was awesome and it was sooo tight and crisp. I love the clocks on the UK's and (I'm prob alone here) I love the plastic gearknob and the rubber gaitor :oops:

I was looking at pics of a UK one on here the other day and it brought back some good memories.

Personally any of the imports that I veiwed were tatty. There was no history outside of the uk, the insurance was £700 extra per year and then the whole fuel thing aswell. Thats why i held out for a standard uk car and im very very happy that I did. Ive got a full history with reciepts. Im getting 30mpg on 95ron fuel. My insurance is cheaper on this that on my mercedes. Nissan cant argue with me over parts etc, where with an import they would.
Would be good to get a UK car database together, to see how many there is knocking about!
