hi,as the car is now definately staying,as it cocked up again before its sale. we are now going to fit hks cams to the car, which isnt a problem, but just wondered if the valves and valve springs will be ok with this?were only fitting 268's.do you notice a big differance when youve fitted them?
and also,do you get timing instructions with them?

you need to find out what lift the cams are to determine whether you need valve springs or not anything up to 11mm lift you should be okay

I had 12mm lift 264's in mine with standard springs etc and it was ok shame about the noise they made though :(

Until you're engine FUBAR'd
Not a problem with the cams though they were still perfect when I sold them, as was the rest of the valve train
the engines running again with the standards back in now to and sounds sweet as 8) so they had no Ill effects on the valve train :D
