Recent "might have someting to do with it" things:
One the track last weekend. the bolt connecting the gear lever to the linkage rod under the car, loosened and fell of. leaving me stuck in 2nd.
i then replaced the bolt and got up and running again.
Problem:
But know when servicing the car i found that the gearselector rod seems to have come further out of the box!
but still selecting gears seems to work fine.. but its leaking a little bit around the rod..
I wonder how this could have happened and how i can get it back in?
can it just slide out and can i then just push it back in?
thought this was locked in position and couldnt come loose..
Will try to get a picture tomorrow.
