I have spent most of the evening trying to fit my new Walbro pump but have just given up. I have got the old pump out and wired up the connector to the new pump, but i cant get the bottom part of the carrier out :evil: I read from the how to guide that it just slides out :!: It really doesnt wanna move though and i think if i force it anymore it will break.
I have tried just attaching the pump to the top part of the carrier and re-fitting it that way, but all that did was make the filter come off where i was forcing it to much and now that has disappeared down in the tank somewhere
Am gonna put the original filter onto the new pump and hope that one stays on. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Also when i took the cap off there was only 1 hose connected underneath, I think its the main fuel hose from the pump, but according to the how to guide there should be 2 :?: A second hose going to the plastic thing underneath :?
