forge crank pulley

just got hold of one of these, when it comes to fitting is it just a case of unbolting the the old one and putting this one on?

if not how do u fit these? thanks

Yes its just a straight swap fella :wink: , I'm on my second forge pulley now :roll: , The first one had to be changed under warranty after the crankshaft oil seal made a grove in the alloy :shock: , Letting the engine oil past the seal :evil: :cry: .

So keep an eye on it :wink: , I'm not holding my breath that it will last the cause :cry: .

Im a bit worried about the problem rob described has anyone else had this or any problems after fitting a forge crank pulley?

rob would putting a metal washer between the crank and the forge pulley help?

I have had mine on since my rebuild, 4000 miles and still fine. I think it prolly didn't help robs situation fitting the pulley to an engine with 50,000+ mile old rubber seals but still shouldn't have worn a groove in the pulley though, must have been a duff one I think.
