im thinking of adding one of these :D
can anyone explain how they are fitted and can they be used with a standard turbo..
help..... :cry: :cry:

you posted in the thread below which has the info needed to fit one to the standard manifold.....why post the same question again? and yes they can be used with the standard turbo.

thanks for the reply but what i want to no is how it controls and connects to the standard turbo :D

it doesnt need to connect to the turbo, just the manifold. The internal actuator has a port that connects the dump pipe area to the exhaust inlet on the turbine. By controling this gate you control how much exhaust gas is allowed to flow through the turbine blades to produce boost. The same pricnipal applies with extarnal wastegates except you are controling the distribution of exhaust gases more efficiently. You have a port that varies in flow to control boost.

external wastegates hold boost better then a normal wastegate there more acurate i believe,and also u get to use a dump pipe :D :D
