hey guys. i´d got an mail from topend performance wich includes 3 types for the sr20-engine. wich one should i take ?

C4324-040 NIS SR20DE/DET 87.5MM .040" MLS W/1 EXTRA OIL HOLE $86.50
C4130-030 NIS SR20DE/DET 87.5MM .030 MLS W/ NO EXTRA OIL HOLES $86.50
C4283-040 NIS SR20DE/DET 87.5MM .040 MLS W/BOTH ADD. OIL HOLES $86.50

This is the one they advised me to go for with 87mm pistons. You don't mention if its for a standard or rebuilt engine?

They advised me to go with slightly larger than the piston diameter so there's no risk of them coming into contact.

no i don´t know. i need a headgasket for 87mm je pistons. shall i took the 3rd one ?

Well the one I put up for you is being fitted to our engine which will also have 87mm JE pistons.;-)

It was the one recommended to me by the guy I was dealing with at Topend.

I'm sure I still have the email he sent me somewhere ....

will have a look and post back in a min.;-)

Cheers for the quick reply.

Need to ask though, which of the gaskets listed is specific to the GTI-R engine? I'm sure there are different oil paths to the SR20DET in the 200SX so I don't want to be ordering one and then finding that it won't fit. Looking for a 1.2mm gasket to fit a GTI-R engine thats runnung 87mm pistons.

Made for an 87.5mm bore (You always make the gasket just a little larger diameter.
