I’m thinking of a brake upgrade for my turbo’ed Sunny 2.0 GTI, because the mintex discs and pads aren’t good enough for track use.
I can buy for less a 300ZX brake set, so with the 280mm discs and 4-pots calipers. I did some searching on the internet and find out that you’ll need big spacers, because otherwise calipers touches the rims.
I think the Hispec or wilwood 4-pots calipers aren’t much different than the 300ZX 4-pots calipers. I think the outside measurement / dimensions are almost the same?!?! Am I right?
I think the offset of the disc between the original/hispec disc is much different then the 300zx one?!?
So my plan is to buy a set of 285mm discs and take the 300ZX 4-pots.
Where can I buy 285mm discs, which brand and what costs?
