Adjusting timing

Is there any way at all to do this on the R without forking out for some description of external ECU ( eg Unichip, Power FC, E-manage etc ) - from what I've heard you can no longer get the Apexi ITC and I'm not aware of any other companies offering an alternative ?

you can adjust the timing to a set limit yourself using timing gun.... but for adjustable timing through rev range, electronic ecu or timing controller (itc) is only option as far as im aware

I managed to get hold of a new ITC 8)

There was one on e-bay, still sealed in the box, dont know if its still on there though.
