Had water leak Thursday night. Checked it today spilt hose going to matrix. Today replaced all main hoses with red samco ones. Ran coolant flush on road test and will flush out tomorrow and refill with nice new free antifreeze.
went to fit my doors, needed to remove my winds, so 2 steps forward 2 steps back
This morning I replaced the lower arm ball joints. Both R and L. Darn it . . . .Bush's need doing :-( . I've seen them so it goes on the "to do list " upsettingly.
I sat in mine this afternoon, made turbo noises and fluttering sounds as if I was driving the car, ramming through the gears.
Then got out, put the dust sheet back on and when back in doors to do my ironing!
Classic, I do this weekly
the times when there was just a pile of bolts, hoses, half built engine in front of me, im sitting in it full boost leaning back in the garage whilest having a beer. my partner never understood.

Getting mine ready for Croft xmas stages on the 30th...
You taking the Pulsar Jon ?
Sorry, bit late replying. Yes. It was a good day, snow, rain and we finished 1/3 way down field. Struggled with a quite bad misfire all day
Job mate you were there and so was the R so that’s a win. Who was in the other R mate ?
Didn't get his name, too busy trying to fix mine! Yes, two R's doing what they are supposed to be doing, getting thrashed! I had forgotten
how enjoyable the R is to drive. The brakes on mine meant I could gain three car lengths into each chicane. shame the engine misfire lt it down once out! Think I easily lost a lot of time following a Type R Honda for lap after lap, him pulling away out of every chicane...
New ignition HT components will fix it, I think
All the best to gtiroc members for 2018

Finished putting the powdercoated subframe w/ all new poly bushings, fresh painted diff./axles/hubs, and replaced rear calipers/pads/rotors.
...meanwhile I moved all the boxes for the christmas decorations off the roof of what my wife now calls 'the red shelf'
Had to get this replaced.
Missfire rallying? Think I have found out the root cause to this and its not as expected. Believe it has been caused by too big plug gaps. Would like to hear from anybody with an opinion on this. Nominal 40 thou
