Basically, I have a large job in progress at work and have max'ed my overdrafts but all will be sorted at the end of May. In the meantime I need to invest some capital in the business. The car has: Before I purchased the car, it had (done by previous owner): CP Forged Pistons, new ACL bearings and was fully rebuilt less than 2k miles ago. All supporting documentation for this is present including reciepts for bits, rebuild labour etc. Rebuilt gearbox, very smooth and drives nice. genuine huge HKS intercooler AEM wideband, slightly dicky wiring loom, I was going to replace it but ho hum. Pro Sport illuminated boost guage AVC-R boost controller Wilwood 4 pots on front Brand new stainless lines in bag, ready to fit Quickshift Cheap and nasty head unit! Electric windows work, not clunky Sunroof is also electric and works, doesn't leak I have a scudload of receipts and history which confirms everything, plus you can ring AC Speed tech who will no doubt tell you Andy Clarke's comment: "It's a very nice thing..." Battery in the boot, no AC, standard stuff. Cobra Cat1 - Insurance is £230 fully comp insured for £12k. I am 36/37. And now, done by AC Speedtech: Engine re shimmed as per build thread, quietest motor I've heard in a GTIR Every seal, pipe and tube replaced with OEM or uprated during rebuild,. 1000cc ASNU injectors. New pipe runs to shorten intercooler pipe length New stainless manifold manufactured to fit the car New Turbo 297153R - instant power and no lag to speak of HPX N1 Airflow sensor Nistune on standard ECU Sparco steering wheel Numerous oil changes for running in, including flushing changes. OS Gikken twin plate clutch, absolute joy to drive. New K&N filter Boost set to 1.75kg/cm2 - Has much more to give. Feels like around 400hp and torquey as hell, not confirmed on rolling road as I wouldn't want to risk a problem. Mint Lenso alloys, look a bit like Rays and are solid and straight. No scuffs or marks. The not so good bits: One 5p size surface rust scab on NSR arch, inside is solid and underneath is solid. Another 5p size rust scab on RHS on boot lid (you cannot really see either unless you look hard) Head lining needs to be replaced, is hanging down on drivers side slightly. Rear shocks could do with rebuild, arse end is a bit lively in the wet, but absolutely fine in the dry. Dash has the usual cracks, I had plans to replace. Paintwork could do with a machine polish. Bumpers have a pretty crap paint job and need a re spray. Slight gripe that the bonnet vent rain cover is missing, which is me being picky, but best to say everything. Exhaust flexi section is slightly scuffed and needs replacing but this doesn't affect the the drive. Speedo intermittent, works fine up to 40mph ish.! Oil breather from manifold needs a plastic insert fitting, I will do it this week if I have time. I have fitted a new breather filter anyway. There is a nice stainless Cusco catch can also waiting to be fitted. Being realistic, you may need to spend a grand on the car to get it painted, dash and headlining replaced, machine polished and you will have an absolutely mint R which already turns heads. I am fairly confident you wont find a cleaner one for the money with a spec like this. Car is insured with Footman James and I will accept test drives, as long as I accompany. I will also need to see the cash before we go anywhere with you driving! The car owes me just under £5k and I have spent another £8-£9k on it. Looking for sensible offers which are proceedable this week. If it doesn't sell this week and I have to raise cash by selling one of my test tools, it probably won't come up for sale again in the near future. I will attempt to get the car tidied up a little this week, but am not a fan of dressing things up, as this is genuinely a very solid and sorted car. SMS to 07795234120 or message me through here.
