Having an LOL moment. The LHS of the car has just been repainted following the last 'armco-lack of driver talent' moment. The transfers are waiting to be stuck on so my mate Pete/Rons business (SBS Blasting) gets the recognition it deserves. Pete has a vested interest to sort this soon as he is co-driving in 2 weeks.........................

Holding 21st overall when the mixture went stupid rich, fowling the plugs. Stage 5. Changed the plugs, AFM, no help.. Had to retire. Is it possible to be the Lambda? Fuel pressure ok, boost ok, little pipeworks inside the engine bay look ok. The fault codes read 5 long, 5 short.

Anybody?

Was there any noise prier to the over fuel? Like a bang/pop have you checked all of the intercooler pipes for either a split or to see if they've popped off?

No noise as such. Came out of a long right hander. 60 ish 3rd gear. Pulling a lot of G. Miss started. 1st thought low fuel. as I run 1/4 tank (with swirl pot extra pump etc), but fuel press ok. Boost controller holding good boost, but need to examine all pipework, as you say. Misfire is now at tickover also, ie at no boost. Injector pulse width was 2% at tickover, now between 4 and 7%, so too much fuel. Plugs black, tailpipe sooty, black smoke, smells of unburnt fuel, so defo too rich.
