Wasn't there a couple more? They had OS Giken clutches and quaife boxes, but I can't actually remember who they were.

Yep lets start a national rain dance for next sunday in the Prescott Hillclimb area to rain from 8-30 ( so I can get my tent away dry) until around 2pm...lol Much help needed,,

Phil. You can have the rain, but we do not want it at Wiscombe Park. With a new suface on the hill, plus water and worn slicks, it could be hairy. Pleased to see the van is sorted, it will make it a lot better for you. Den.

Phil. Did you get enough rain to stuff the GT3. Our two day event at Wiscombe Park turned into a one day event. The wind and rain was dreadfull. However it did give me a chance to test the bits that I have done over the winter. New swept elbow and exhaust felt nice, but unable to give it the normal boost. New recomended plugs never missed a beat, so pleased with them. Looking at Saturday times I see that not one car out of about 120plus could beat my R in launch times even though I was running on worn slicks on wet tarmac. A lot of revs and dump the clutch and hang on. My Quaife gears have been doing this since 2006.

You win some you lose some...not a great weekend from the wet moment I arrived to find the place a total mud bath, I am totally p***d off with camping. Was lucky I was still using the 4 x 4 as loads had to get towed in and out.
The car seemed to run well never missed a beat but I apart from one practice when I went across the grass and did my best time of the weenend I never seemed to put a good run together, and I cant put my finger on it...I just might be out of practice.
I came 4th and missed third my 8 hundreths.... I beat all the same competitors from last year but the GT3 was just too quick...a scooby was next (and runs ilegal fuel)...and another 911 was the won who me knocked back to 4th...Its Shelsley next week so hope its dry just so I can see if the car is running ok...could be old tyres? but who knows. Looking back I never to very well in the first meeting so just hope I'm a touch rusty. One to forget, apart from the weather...

I've had days like that were despite perfect conditions and the car running fine i haven't been able to get near my usual times, its frustrating!

Good luck for next week ;-)

Back in Shelsley this weekend, so hope to be back to normal....will see if the car is quicker with less weight, if its going to show it should be there.
