Just go it out as noticed some surface rust appearing as not in a dry garage
all the gearbox and ali engine were covered in white dust! but it brushed off easily
fitted 3inch decat and mounted my AEM wideband into it, also fitted mongoose front pipe, just need to finish my elbow now
brushed all surface rust off
Had front end up, wheels off, bumper off, arch liners off, side skirts off, shocks off, gave the front end and sills a blasting in waxoil
looks good as new, was just surface rust, there is no rust at all on the body of this car, well maybe the paints peeling very slightly where the metal bends under on the arches, but not even worth looking at yet
only problem cant drive it as fitted bigger injectors and was testing them with nistune, and now cant remember the state of the map, and nistune trail version no longer lets you look at the map or make any changes! gonna have to spend 200AUD for licence!! (fair enough i guess, as good bit of kit)
looks like sometinh up with steering rack as seems to be leaking into gator:sad:
back end up tomorrow, everything off for some more anti rust treatment, then put her away again for another 2.5 years prob:sad: as cant afford to run her:evil:
