Kev - Please ensure the nurburgring.org.uk doesn't add a picture of a black GTI-R to the WHOOPS section, ok? ;)

I know the 'ring is actually a toll road, so does your insurance cover you on it just liek an ordinary road? If you tw*t it , can't they just claim you were racing and refuse to pay out?

Seriously though - if you stack it I want your sump guard :eek:D LOL - T-shirts are a cert for you to take with you. Printers have agreed to do a small run before the main one. Just gotta meet up before you go then - or I can post it to you...

Jim.

PS. Does either Del or Graham want one?

Del Graham - one person. But he's not going to Nurburgring now. I will ask him though next time I see him

But the roll call is me,
Holger and 4 more Rs from Germany
Habib and his monster from The Netherlands
Simone from Italy
And a bevvy of other quick motors and bikes

My insurance covers me fully comp. And yes it covers the Nurburgring. Though many insurance cos have tried to worm out of it (surprised?) they have always lost - yay.

I'm framing my sumpgaurd if I trash it

Kev,
did you arrived Manchaster with the new radiator or broke down again somewhere? email me if you reached the final destination *lol*
neo@rtype.de ... btw: i forgot to tell yo to check the radiator valve at your garage if it opens at .9 bar. I think it has not opened after the engine cooked your cooling. this could be the reason why the radiator has blown away. Simone´s R also had a breakdown. Holger told me that the distributor is fault so they have to order a new one from Nissan Amsterdam. The damn thing costs in Germany as twice as in Italy...

see you

The pics are only to get a first impression. More people should be motivated now to attend to the next meeting at the Nurburgring... ;-)

Three questions:

1 Should I go on my ZX-7R or in the R?

2 V-max, PLEASE tell me you don't ride a Yam V-Max round the ring  !!!

3 Roughly what was the 'all-in' cost last time?

Duncan,
Please follow the link through the other nutrburg topics for ideas of costs for next years trip.
I don't believe V-max did ride his V-max at the ring he had an R-1 for most of his journeys, though we both saw a v-max at the ring. V-max(Robert) is unlikely to ride the ring again for a few years due to a horrific bike accident in Sweden... again more dtails elsewhere. Though I do expect he'll be wanting to drive it again.
