went there with passionford, redline mag and fast ford.

for totb qualifier's

done 4 runs b4 the turbo seals lets go,

but even with the heat (26+ ambients) and a stronge head/side wind, managed

With my brother in passenger seat for first 2 runs. werent to hard on the start. and full fuel tank

0-60 3.32 & 3.35
0-100 7.52 and 7.58
0-150 21.52
1/4 11.56 and 11.3 @ 122+mph
168.4 mph and 166.9 mph

just me in car and detron timin gear.

0-60 3.04 twice
0-100 6.88 & 6.91
0-150 18.92 and 19.1
1/4 11.1 at 124 twice
169.6 mph and 166mph wen turbo gave up.
1.25 mile in 35.46 @ 168.2 mph

all 4 runs back to back. runnin full boost, but did seem abit slow in top 2 gears, with the wind pushin the car side to side alot, like it was hooverin.

good day.

i was fastest on accelration stuff, and 4th on top speed, top was 174mph i think, done by a 550bhp 3 dr 2wd sierra.

Yeah those are impressive. The MK3 Fiesta is so light :D

Out of interest there are no posts on GTI-R's, so did any compete?

Doubt it. Got full escort cossie runnin gear and a tunnel made out of 2mm metal, which is far thicker than a manufactured car.

No Pulsar's. It was the passion ford totb qualifying.

Proper Datron gps, about 6+ grand.

the 1/4 mile nor 0-top speed had roll outs. ( 8 inch at santa pod etc) so as soon as car moves timer starts,

which the datron bloke sed puts normally .2 sec onto 1/4 mile time compared to the pod.

as yet dont know wot shagged the turbo.

but i know it werent-

fuelin,
egt's
oil probs, as fresh oil, filter, and a cleaned turbo oil filter on day b4.
oil pressure was fine just after turbo let go,
coolant was fine at 88 oC
oil temp was just over 85 oC.
the boost was 28psi wen let go, rated to 32psi.

so all that leave is a turbo fault.

ill be at lydden. fact.

so how does my turbo failure have anything to do with fords, as ford didnt make turbo's..

dont start the banter, as i have proven my car is faster to 100 than all cars on here and top speed.

i'm about 4 secs quicker than jonee to 100mph, and thats with a passenger.

so lynx i'll see you at lydden, and hopefully you wont be hiddin behind jonee, and be out there on the track.
