Did you notice, 7th on the 0-60?

Nissan Micra!! Was that the R engined one?

I think it was a 1.3 super s or something, there was some stupidly rapid cars there, one of the civic type R's that went on the track was flying past everyhting with ease, didnt look like he was braking one bit

If you hadn't said it was 1/8 mile times I would have been extremely impressed with all the times, as on the results sheet it says 1/4m :shock: :roll: :lol:

1/8th aren't overly fast. My 12.4s are on 7.9s

Well done mate, awesome times... I know Knowel Welch with the Escort Cosworth, that car was recently dyno`d at 535bhp :shock:.

My 1/8ths could have been alot faster as i was taking it easy changing into 3rd, the 1st-2nd change on my 3.9 run took 0.5 seconds where as my other runs were 0.25 so could have gone quicker, think i was running about 295 bhp on the day with a redhot engine and TMIC, i launched at 6200rpm and spun a little.

Is this the same timing gear that they use to time the 0-60's at Trax?

Just wondered cos last time i went to Trax they were lining the cars up all over the place. Some were lined up before the beam so they were already rolling when they break the beam, i saw a pretty standard astra Gsi do a 5.9 0-60 :lol:

It's the same system they use at York, but there it's in conjunction with the Drag strip, so you're always starting in the same place (well as much as you do on the drag strip)

At rockingham they lined you up on one of the starting grid lines, they were fairly strict with having you spot on as i tried my best to be a bit futher back, but they insisted i pulled another inch forward.

I know there is always going to be doubters over times posted but thats life
