Not to worried about the crx, at least i wasn't pushing when the joint failed! Kinda proves my point wi the old man though, i did say it was man enough and i had it in the back of my mind before i went out so didn't push the car anyway.
You def need some new slicks Bob, any setup you do will go out the window once you fit new ones so better to start with a known quantity.

just one of those things scott, its sods law that the bit that breaks you dont bring lol, ive been down that road time and time again thats why in future il just take 2 cars then when one breaks you can either rob a part off the other or use the spare car then at least your days not wasted.
im sick and tired of spending all of whats supposed to be a fun day covered in grease with your head wedged under the bonnet deffo not my idea of fun:lol:

yeah il sort some new boots out for the R but im afraid its more than that, theres something drastically wrong with that setup i had done the cars way to skittish and is wallowing all over the place on fast long bends (such as gerrards) it doesnt inspire much confidence, im gonna go back to the place that did the setup and see if he knows what the problem is as im a bit miffed why its doing what it does.

Thank you very much for taking me out in your R! Nice to be driven and see what other R's are like.

I agree in-relation to your set-up bud, it's not right. Far too skittish in my opinion. I think the geometry needs addressing first and then maybe review your suspension set-ups. The place that set my geometry was Wheels-in-motion ( http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/ ).

i may have a crack at sorting suspension out myself as i cant make it worse than it already is. time to get the lump of string out and have a go i reckon.
