there is a half day track day at LYDDEN HILL on the 16th of july.

it can be booked through SEMSEC.

These guys are cool 8) They let you overtake both sides of the track and round corners etc etc. The only thing they don't like is not payin attention to the flags which is fair enough as thats a safety issue.
Non of this overtakin on the left, only on a 1/2 mile straight, with a finger up your ass shit
I'll be playin aswell :lol: :lol:
Its £80 for half a day (3 x 15-20min sessions) that includes membership to SEMSEC and the track day and 3 entry tickets. Then next track day you get discounted price as already a member.
For spectators think its £5 entry as there is their racin event in the afternoon, which is the only downside as regular track days are FREE to spectate.
3 classes dependant on car type. Last time it was slow, fast and single seater things.

Thats a nice car you have there Dan 8) , A lot of work has gone it to that and even though i'm not a ford fan, I do respect the effort you'ev put in to makeing it what it is 8) .

as for the times on that day ask yourself this

if jason gants car got to 100mph in 7 secs how the flipping hell doe's it take the extra 4 secs to get to 120mph.

i'm still not 100% sure these results are correct.

top feature ah jonee only 160mph you must of ran out of track,

run out of track, its 1.7 mile long, a 350 bhp car would easierly go faster.

seems like jon will only do trackdays at brands, as he wouldnt come to the pod wen i asked, and he isnt doin the lyden trackday on monday.

as for LYDDEN race circuit,iv'e been round it so many times its boring.

hey what about that last semsec track day who was making up excuses then about a pug 205 with half the amount of bhp that the fiesta has got, i think they started rolling of the tongue like this " err he had racing tyres on his car" well since when has toyo proxies t1rs been racing tyres? think jonees car is gonna be much faster than most down there, and far superoir than most in the handling also i beleive that jonee is a far superior driver on track than what i have seen previously at lydden, go jonee its your birthday go jonee its your birthday you gonna whoop ass like its your birthday !!!!

the mi 16 205 at brands on sunday had no chance and at least he had the decency to see me afterwards to say what a laugh it was and he realy didn't expect to see me pass him so easily.

you realy should ask some of the people who were there on that sunday about the cars that were beaten fairly and squarely.

if you think that you could beat turbo megabusa around the GP track then you are either extremely over confident or just full off c r a p.

as about tyres, the driver him self told me, the tyres he was usin are used by all in his racin series, so wen he tells me there racin tyres, i'm gona believe him.

No course not, just interested to see how quick your car actually is up against somethin I know the performance of, as its difficult to tell the performance of a car on a track day unless you have something to compare it to.

Some of you other guys should have a go to.
Lyddens quite short which means you get alot of laps in and can learn the track quite quickly and start improvin your lines etc etc fairly quickly.
V good experience for those who've only driven on the road :lol: sooo much more fun on the track. Totally different.

For most, thats what its about, making a car that is faster than others. Doubt anyone is gonna pour alot of time and money into makin a car that performs the same as all the others.
