    Depends what ur after ?

    Strip club a given, I assume..... :)

Templebar is pretty crap and full of tourists. So stay there!!! :)

Jus kiddin, depends on music interests and what its for.. stag? or random lads session?

Don't leave the lapdances after 12 or u won't get in, made that mistake few weeks ago meself...

    Dance:
Traffic = Good pub with nice ladies.
Spirit - Niteclub beside traffic, 3 floors, 3 diff types of music - top floor full of yoke heads.
Tripod - as above but newly done up - haven't been in there since but supposed to be good

    If stayin in Templebar:

    - Fitzsimons - couple floored pub - very busy with band odd time and dj etc, club downstairs too but not great.
    - Club M - not the worst - had some great nites and pretty much guaranteed to bump into hen nites... :)

Posher alternative: - close to grafton st
    - Lillie bordelloes, ok not that posh :)
    - Cafe en seine
    - Cocoon - small pub with savage bar staff, and only let hot people in the door (eddie irvine is joint owner)
    - Dandelion

    Other: -harcourt st
    - Odeon - bigger pub can be good laugh
    - D2 - club can be good again...

After club head to leeson st for late nite wine bars.
Only serve wine and champagne, always busy and open till 4, 5 etc.
Leggs the main one. Ended here couple months ago with 2 bottles of champagne in front of us. Got home 6am. nice.

Plenty of other choices depending on music interest and whether on the sluts r wat.

    Enjoy.

pearl 476.5bhp, now you have figured out how to join the GTIROC and completed your subsription payment you should have answered your own questions as to why the thread was deleted as I'm sure you must have read the forum rules before signing on the dotted line............ just in case you still don't get it please read on.

Fazz, if you think "banter" like that is going to encourage the sort of members we want to join the GTIROC then frankly I would rather you didn't bother. Save it for Maccy D's car park please. The Irish section isn't your own little private section, is it ?

Please read the forum rules, particularly sections 11 & 12. Just remember this is an "open to the public" forum and ANYONE can read it, including kids and I for one didn't enjoy explaining what some of the language you were using in that thread to my 5 year old daughter.

Abusive language, swearing, TXT speak, or any other behaviour deemed unsuitable will not be tolerated, paid up member or not you will still be issued with a strike and the offensive material deleted from view. Just being a paid member does not mean you can do what you like, where you like, how you like, you must still abide by the same guide lines we should all be using.

This subject is not open to debate, they are the forum rules. Like it, lump it or get out.

(by being a registered member of this forum you agree to abide by these rules)

1: No Racial and Prejudice Comments
They will be deleted and an instant strike given out to the offending member.

2: No Tuner Trading on the Forum
No Tuner Traders on the Club Forum. Anyone caught will be banned. Anyone caught trading under a personal name will also be banned. Tunners are welcome under a personal ID but will still fall under the Tunner Trader Policy.

    3: No False Usernames
Any member found to be using another members username to gain access to different sections, post offending comments, or to trade will be confronted. We will not condone this behaviour and a strike will be given to the offender and the member who's username was used. Please keep your log in details private.

    4: One Username Only
A member should only be using 1 username, instead of making a new account an option in your profile enables you to change your username. If you have more than one account could you please contact the moderators and Admin to have this deleted (Please put your old username in your signature so other members still know who you are).

5: No Slander Against Companies and Individuals
Be aware that you cannot just post what you like about companies/individuals you have issues with. In doing so, you are endangering the forum. Opinions and personal experiences are allowed but will be closely monitored. If you are unsure about your comment or have a complaint please contact a moderator who will advise you if it is suitable to post.

    6: Posts
Post in the correct section. That’s what they are there for. We’re not going to sit there all day tidying up your posts being in the wrong section. Expect them to simply be deleted.
You may not advertise another forum without permission from the Moderators.

    7: No FAO Posts
No FAO posts. They will be deleted. Use the PM (Private Message) service.

    8: No Signature Pictures
Sig pics/banners are not allowed on the forum in any way, please refrain from having one or we will remove it.

    9: Low Bandwidth Avatars
Avatar pics are limited to a maximum of 120x120 pixels and 45KB. Keep them sensible and as not to offend people. This will be our judgement and not yours.

    11: Language
Anyone using TXT Talk will be issued with a strike. 3 and you’re out. Simple! Bad use of language will no be tolerated. You will use the Queen's English spoken with the it's correct elegance. Only when the Queen starts using TXT Talk will you be allowed to do the same!

    12: No Abusive/Threatening Comments
Will be edited/deleted and strikes issued if warranted. Abusive/threatening PM's/emails will not be tolerated and members doing so will be issued with strikes/ban accordingly.

13: New Users:- Learn to Search
Use the SEARCH function. Its there for a reason. Chances are your question has been asked and answered many times before.

    14: Keep threads on topic
Keep on topic. Spamming etc, will not be tolerated and you will be subject to the 3 strike rule.

    15: Buying & Selling
Any individual seen to be making unreasonable profit from organising a GB through a trader will have their GB stopped. Warning will be issued.
Anyone caught trading for personal benefit under their personal account will be warned and then banned. Buying from Japan and Selling to the UK Members is blatant profiteering and won't be tolerated either.

    The 3 STRIKE Rule:
1st offence: A strike will be given via PM and/or Email
2nd Offence: A 7 Day ban on your username
3rd Offence: A 28 day ban on your username

It's got nothing to do with being funny or humorous.

The threads that were deleted contained, TXT speak, bad language and agressive behavior, you bunch of halfwits might have thought it all very funny but it was in an "open to all" forum and as I was reading it, unbeknown to me so was my daugther and she was quite distressed because she didn't understand your advanced sense of humour.

Oh, and by the way, this is and English speaking board, so any more of that Irish gibberish and the culpable users will be dealt with accordingly.

    Perfectly chilled

    Steve

1 - Agreed on the txt speak but i don't recall any in the thread in question.

2 - In relation to bad language, its pretty much frequent on the site so why do we get penalised.
Anyway, there's a swear filter in place isn't there? - test - **** this shit
Pretty sure that comes out as asterixed or whatever??

3 - if we are calling each other names or whatever, it doesn't really affect others does it? I've seen it on other threads and hasn't been an issue.

4 and MOST IMPORTANTLY - what a load of double standardising ****.

Rob aka thunderpants aka Odin has been abusing non members, non friends, non users, newbies etc etc for years. And here he sticks his unwanted nose in and calls us Morons.

Its one thing abusing friends in a banter way, its another sticking ur trap in where its not needed, wanted or warranted.

Care to exlain why this is tolerated???

According to ur rules he should have been struck off long ago.

    Is that good for membership?
Is that good for other readers?

Tell me its not double standards...

First of all the rules are there for a reason. To protect the people who use the board to protect the board itself, and ultimately the Club.

I understand that you guys have a lot of banter between yourselves but bare in mind that for someone looking in on it, doesn't always come across that way. As a moderator Steve was obliged to act on this. Any other moderator is expected to uphold the rules of the board just the same... This has been an issue in other threads and they have been removed accordingly.

Friendly Banter/Abuse is fine but also bare in mind how it may come across to others viewing the boards. In this case it was removed as it was judged as being a little too much.

Rob. I will have a chat with him later. His choice of words in the context used was a bit overboard. He has generally been as well behaved as most others with exception to that little outburst. He is infact on Strikes just so you don't think there is any favouritism.

As for 2 Scots using bad language 2 pages back? I can only see one Scot and good use of the English language? If I've missed it then by all means point it out.

I would like to consider this matter closed. Any issues, you know where the PM button is.. ;)
