Who's organising it as when the PGAC and SXOC organised those and I attended, it was somewhat cheaper!
Will probably nip over as i'm local to it...

The MLR organised it and run with proper timing gear inc 60ft times etc, but whether that has a bearing on the cost, I don't know.
Also were the other events full day or half day? and what was the cost for the other events out of interest, as I thought £40 for a full days fun was pretty good value really.

Full days dude, £25 for the 200SX people if i remember correctly - although they didn't do any timing stuff, just blatted around it.
Just realised this is on the Monday - thought it was Sunday, shan't be around to go to it afterall. :(

Thats very cheap, the price is supposed to be jumping again soon though, to double what it is now, so it might mean there'll be no more sprints there.
Shame you couldn't make it down, was a fun day made all the more interesting by the thunderstorm lol. Markturbo ran his R there and did very well, beating a couple of evo's in the process, when he changes that 130000 mile standard suspension, I recon he'll be beating a few more aswell.
Think everybody was quite impressed, especially when he was doing 1.8 64ft times in the middle of the thunderstorm

When Ginga told me the MLR were short on numbers for this i thought it would be a good chance to see how an R with standard brakes and suspension would compare against some Evo's. And i think i proved how just how inferior it is handling wise  Out of 15 cars that ran i came 11th, hardly surprising when it was pretty much all Evo 6's, 8's, and 9's running though

Most the Evo's seemed to be around the 74 sec lap time mark and my best time was 77 secs (although they put my worst time of 82 secs up on the MLR for some reason!) which i was still happy with considering it was my first time there 8) I reckon once my Ap racing brakes are on, suspension sorted, and using some better tyres i could take 2 or 3 secs off which would put me a lot nearer their times ;-)

And studying the video footage of my runs last night i didnt realise that i was lifting the inside back wheel clean off the ground into some of the bends

Mark you have done really well against the evos;-) if you have standard suspension then that is a good result against alot more modern machinery8)
are the videos on the MLR?

What route around the track do they use when doing timed runs?
Starting at the gate and then... ?
