As we all know the GTiR has several weak points one of which is the clutch pedal assembly. As the youngest of these cars is approx. 12 years old things start to wear a little.
The problem with the pedal assembly is that every time the clutch pedal is depressed the whole pedal assembly mount flexes. Over a period time it flexes more and more and then each time you press the clutch you can can develop a squeak, take this as a sign that the pedal assembly is worn.
Then just to top it off we go and fit stiffer uprated clutches which exert even more pressure on the assembly.
Eventually this can lead to the whole assembly breaking and falling off the bulkhead into the drivers footwell. NOT GOOD.

Basically my bracket is a copy of the bracket Nissan used to fit to a few of the later model GTiR's (1993 - 94). The bracket stops all sideways pedal movement and made the pedal feel much more positive and got rid of that squeak from the pedal.

BEFORE YOU ORDER ONE, TAKE A LOOK UP INSIDE THE DRIVERS FOOTWELL JUST TO MAKE YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY GOT ONE. SEE PHOTOS BELOW.

THESE BRACKETS ARE ALWAYS AVAILABLE. IF YOU WANT ONE PM ME OR EMAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW.

    Steve,

I'll have one... Just curious as well, how easy to fit are they - i.e. is it a dash out job or head in footwell, feet out the window job?! Do they bolt in or need to be welded in?
