Anyone know this engine?

I was watching a few things he was selling but after reading some of his feedback it put me off.

Edit: Just noticed it can be seen/heard running.

Thanks gents. Another member pm'd me as he recognised the car. My car was also running fine a year ago so one can never know what issues there might have been in the meantime. A warning flag for me is the photo probably doesn't match the engine bay.

Cheers,
Jim

That's better news then as I think Geetir is (was) coming to the NW rolling road day.

@Geetir, if you are the owner of this thread and it causes any issues then just let me know and I'll delete it.

If nothing else the ad has motivated me to sort my garage out this weekend so I stand a chance of doing something with the car :)

Cheers,
Jim

hi jim. it might be quicker than a rebuild, but least with a rebuild you know that it is right and you are not pouring money down the drain.
plus it will only take a couple extra days to rebuild it.
hope you get it sorted,if you need a hand just give us a shout and i will see what i can do.

Thanks for the offer Bob, very much appreciated. I'm not sure if you've met Stumo but he says the same thing to me too.

Just been out sort the tracking on my other car for drifting in a few weeks. Even the simplest job seems to takes ages once you've finished work, sorted family etc.

It's stumo...
I thought I'd get it in before he did, although I suspect he'd save you the expletives.

Doesn't Stu need to sort his own car out first? - Looks like there are a few of us in a last-minute dash to get cars ready and on the road; it could be interesting to see how much power there is in a newly-built engine.
