Evening all, never seen it before, but the antilock light stays illuminated when the car is driven, anyone had this happen before and if so how do i sort it,was thinking maybe it was to do with the central locking, but i may stand corrected.

I hate to state the obvious, but doesn't that suggest something do to with the ABS? - The last time mine did that it was one of the wheel sensors, and the fault cleared once I cleaned-up the reluctor ring.

The ABS control unit is self-diagnostic like the ECU so you can get it to tell you why it's trying to get your attention.

As above, or your ABS fuse has blown?

Try slamming on the brakes, see what happens? (safely of course)

The abs Ecu has as said above self test diagnostic. See what it flashes at you it's located to left in passenger foot well. Behind the panel. The ring is the part the sensor reads on the driveshaft. The wires often snap (unseen) on the abs sensors. Abs Ecu will tell you front or rear and what side

Can I suggest one thing it's a simple job it tells you the fault on the abs Ecu find the problem before you take bulb out and least you know if you ever want to sell car or put it back you know what it is

I agree that its best to find the problem and fix it,but on an abs system thats way to sensitive on stock brakes, its going to be a pain in the arse when the brakes are upgraded, bearing in mind the system is nearly 25 years old,i have no plans to sell the car anytime soon and i know circumstances could change, but i would sell the wife first.ha ha.

Try checking that your brake fluid is topped up. Mine illuminated so I thought I'd do the easiest thing first. When checking the fluid reservoir and noticed it was low, topped it up and the light went out.

Could have been coincidence but worth a go
