S14/S15 have 0.64 AR, I think the GTiR Turbo is a 0.86 Housing, you should get less lag, but not more power from the exh housing swap. The S15 turbo, if swapped completly, has a ball bearing core for even earlier spool.

I really dont think it will fail, the old design would allow for small movement and we assume therefore after a while a stress fracture. There is no movement with the new design, so no chamce for fatigue to accur.

DSDF Torline - its a frieght only ferry, and the ferry can take 365 lorries, but only ~12-15 drivers. Most of it fills with just lorry trailers. Its a bit rough and ready, basic cabin, no entertainment bar sky TV in drivers lounge, no real choice of food but meals included, unlimited tea/coffe...

I'm running 1000cc SARD's in my CA18DET, my teammate is running 1000cc RC injectors with a similar spec. Only ~400bhp. My car will pass an MOT even with these injectors, although the VEMS ECU does have very good injector control. Running stock fuel pressure.
