Mahle, cp, je are all good for what you are looking for, stock rods with arp bolts are fine if good for 500hp and above as long as you are not planning on raising the rev limit.
Franz runs a sr20 and a very radically modified suspension setup...oliver frey runs the rb26 and skyline running gear, and there is another chap doing that conversion too
Custom spindles will do what? The drive shafts have to be made as the length of them is to be measured yet...hence custom drive shafts being made. Fast guy the cv joints fail from power and steering lock and 3 nismo diffs...they give a huge amount off transmission wind up at low speed.
I have broken c.v. joints and transfer boxes, gearboxes, rear diffs, and front diff cross tubes. Drive shaft's for this project will be custom made to suit and hubs will be fine.
Rated to 1000hp and 750lbft of torque, everything is twice the size of the gtir in the gearbox, rear diffs and transfer box is very similar in dimensions, alot of people running this combo without issue ...there is a stronger rear diff from another model available too and it's not that expensive.
You need the evo sequential box and quite or similar centre diff £10k, evo 9 rs or 6tme transfer box £1.5k , evo 5-9 rs rear diff £1.5k, clutch £2k custom fabrication to fit it all and new drive shafts and prop £5k ish...i know I am doing it.
Syvecs for what it can do and precision for the price is the best value, I run one. Motec are expensive and you have to pay to understand lock the extra things like anti lag, link seem to be good value and halters as well
When power goes over 500 you should be looking at ecu's that have good knock control , a Nissan z32 maf will top out at 520ish hp, you can use a mustang cobra maf with nistune but why with the cost of ecu now.
