No it's not cross threaded, well not yet anyway!
You can clearly see it leaking from where it's crimped to the braided hose, which is above the banjo bolt.
Long shot but does anyone have a standard turbo oil feed line I can pick up today/tomorrow?
Brand new braided one leaks like buggery!
In the UK, West Midlands ideally?
Cheers :)
Odd request but anyone got a set of the four propshaft bolts that go transfer box to the prop?
Local to the midlands to collect or I pay postage?
Cheers Toby
Ah a sigh of relief with the samco's & the spring then as mine seemed fine.
Stugtir300 the reason I want to block the water feeds off to the inlet manifold is just to make it a bit more serviceable once fitted in the car.
I had to do a few jobs in that area with the inlet in situ before which...
Why can't you use the spring out of your split pipe & swap it into the samco hose?
Thats what I done on mine this weekend, presume that's the done thing?
Amber performance was a 4 week wait as well but beat nissans 6 week wait & you don't want to be doing them again so I would vote samco's...
You can use the spring from your exiting stock hose surely?
I hope this is the usuall done thing as I fitted my samco's this weekend & just swapped the spring over it fits straight into the samco pipe.
Amber performance supplied mine but as mentioned before it's a 4 week wait from them as...
As title, I'm looking for an oversized G-spec or similar water pump pulley.
If anyone has got one for sale or a contact for someone uk based where I can buy one then let me know please.
Looking for a pair of up rated front struts as one of mine has started leaking & the top mounts shat itself.
Ideally after a pair of adjustable GAB's to match my rears but will consider anything that's stiffer than the stock KYB's.
Dont need springs but would want top mounts as well if...
I always side with the stock colours, but I do sometimes toy with the idea of a period OEM Nissan colour that wasn't available for the pulsar.
The wine red that R32 GT-R's came in think would work well, sure ive saw a pic of one somewhere? UK registered car I think
As the title really looking for a clean drivers door as mine is rotten by the hinge, colour isn't an issue as it's being resprayed but want a fairly straight panel.
Can collect as well, closer to the midlands the better but I don't mind a road trip to talk pulsar over a brew! :)
Ah I have some of the bits off this car, The guy was based in Wolverhampton who had it.
He said he was breaking due to the headgasket failing.
As far as what power it ran I cannot vouch but he had stack of paperwork & some dyno print outs.
I brought the manifold & exhaust but he'd sold the...
Should it in theory Minimise the risk if you run a top mount turbo with braided oil feed & returns with an inline filter?
Obviously if the plastic cage breaks up your screwed anyhow.
Yeah i know they do stock but i thought that they use the t3 flange when using an aftermarket top mount manifold.
Maybe a bad example me looking at the 200sx but it was just a thought.
As you say though it seems more an issue on pulsars than some others.
Total shot in the dark but could it be anything to do with them running the smaller t25-t28 type flange on a pulsar?
Only ask as apposed to the lads who run them on 200sx etc as mentioned in the previous post, and on evo's & cossies etc tend to run with the larger T3 type flanges & 3" intakes?
Also looking at these two options myself if i do take the plunge and rebuild one of my engines.
Does anyone know of a U.K based supplier for the Mahle or even just one that can deliver to the U.K?
I mean that the second engine i fitted seems to have failed in the same way as in the bottom end started knocking.
It wasn't under the same load as last time, in fact i had drove the car about for a couple of days and all seemed well with no real problems, in fact the a.f.r's seemed better and...
