Well unfortunately guys I wont be attending in an R. Had a smash in mine and just started the breaking process. Hit a patch of wet road under trees on a 2nd gear hairpin back road corner, no drama as i was driving casual then as it straightened an I applied a bit of boost the back end decided to...
I don't know what you would call minimal or what you checked them with.
Straightest thing I have to hand at the moment is a steel brembo caliper adapter bracket.
Mine just arrived.....
How are people going about machining the Turbo face flange flat? I am not really a fan of bolting a pre warped uneven surface that will be under intense heat to a gasket that is already prone to blowing.
That is looking better to me. As long as there is enough flat area to seat a bolt or nut I am happy. If you can supply with those bolts will be much better. Thanks
Believe what?? We are not in church questioning faith.
I really don't get the issue here. I simply wanted to know what I would be buying, so I would know if they suited my setup or not. I am not going to buy something if its going to give me 9Deg castor, 3Deg camber and 30mm extra track a side...
I have no intention of making or selling any such arms as copies, purely wanted to know the details of what I would be getting If I were to commit to purchasing the items. To be honest I would much rather buy a set than make some if they will give results to what I was looking to do. Saying...
Sorry I hadn't realized these cars were uses in such tight high budget competition where people kept such secrets of little adjustments so close to their chest.
I was never asking for a blueprint diagram to replicate it. More so to know what I would actualy be buying. Ie how much castor will...
My thoughts exactly. I view it as disgusting people would be so cloak and dager just so they can make money out of people for themselves.
All I wanted to know was which dimensions had been changed. I'm not going to pay for or even fit something I don't know what it's actually going to...
Any reason you have changed the design? the old one looked simpler with less joins, and to have a less acute first angle. Or i may just be the angle in the pictures.
Will also depend what 15s you have, there are only a select few designs that can accommodate 290-300mm discs and 4pots. Unless you dont mind running hefty spacers.
I would do it yourself, can save quite a bit of money and get exactly what you want. You can buy the likes of universal brackets with bolt holes to suit whichever caliper you want to use from wilwood or hispec then go from there. I plan to do a mini write up of the rough dimensions of the ones I...
Calipers are a HiSpec 4 pot kit or a wilwood Dynalite kit, both converted off an FTO. Haven't decided which I am going to use as the Hispecs have a 2 piece 295x28mm disc.
I have loads of wheels to be. But I test fitted today and they fit under 15s. It's all down to wheel and spoke design. Sods...
