weird clicking / clunking from front

have you tried just wiggling the wheel (as if checking for wheel bearing movement) while the wheel is off the ground? 6 oclock / 12 o clock will show ball joint issues, 9oclock 3 oclock will show track-rod end movement. there's meant to be movement in the driveshaft in the direction of the...

weird clicking / clunking from front

It would be CV joints if it was clicking repetitively. A single clunk is normally suspension parts moving to relocate under stress when a bush or joint is worn.

weird clicking / clunking from front

i assume that when you yank it over to the right it only clunks the once? It's not a repetitious click click click? I'd still say ball joint or wishbone bushes, but i'm no pulsar expert - i'm sure someone on here can give a better diagnosis. Engine mounts? Wheel about to fall off?!

    fuel lines

No, either want to replace just the corroded bit with fuel hose, or replace the lot with something more hardy than rubber.

    fuel lines

hmm, that's an idea, but i'd have to get the flaring kit for the larger bore pipe too - i've got it all for brake pipe already.

    fuel lines

The metal fuel lines on my car are in perfect condition, except for the last 12 inches or so as they near the tank. They have corroded quite badly here and i'd like to replace them. I had intended to simply cut them short to remove the corroded bit and replace with fuel hose (since the last...

weird clicking / clunking from front

if it was just when turning i'd say could be the strut top bearing had died, but you say it happens when pulling off and changing gear which sounds more like wishbone bushes / ball joint. I think the diff on the front wheels is open, so yes, you can spin one of the wheels independently

    Rear ARB drop links?

doing a search for that part number brings this back http://www.partsbase.net/part/nip-j4891027 which says it's 175mm which is much longer than the original one (assuming the original one is right!)

    Rear ARB drop links?

hmm. I've emailed him, but having compared that picture to the one I've taken off, it looks way too long.

    Rear ARB drop links?

yeah, saw that too, but assumed it's for the wrong 'pulsar'. I'll email him and ask for measurements.

    Rear ARB drop links?

yeah, seen those. If you look up the QH reference, you get here, and they're not the right length :(

    Rear ARB drop links?

to be fair, there's nothing wrong with mine, they're just rusty. I thought it would be easier to buy new rather than clean them up. Guess what i'm going to do now....!
