I think the true test with these elbows is the difference in BHP V's increases in boost. I mean, when I had a standard elbow and turbo, at 1 Bar I got (Can't remember exactly but IIRC) 290BHP, 1.2 Bar 310BHP, 1.4 Bar 315BHP. With a 3" elbow & downpipe I got, 1 Bar 310BHP, 1.2 325BHP, 1.4 Bar...

Most people find (Including me), it's easier to have a custom one made up at an exhaust fabrication place. I had mine done at the The Racing Line for about £300

I'm with Bob on the rebuild front - Had mine done twice (Not mentioning names *cough AET cough*) and it's not lasted long. Means I've basically got well over a grand in a fubar'd tubby. Must be a problem with the oil pressure sir - bollox it was a brand new Nissan oil pump! I just waited it out...

I've had mine rebuilt twice by AET who have a good rep, and I paid loads too. Neither of them lasted tho. In my experience you'd be better trying to find and buy a 2nd hand one off someone on here. The money I have spent rebuilding my standard tubby - I could have bought a brand new 3071 :(

It will be your standard turbo elbow. A couple of years back, when on the standard elbow, mine made 317BHP at 1.2 bar and only 319BHP at 1.5 bar - Put new 3" elbow on and I gain about 50 horses upping the boost.
