I agree with you mate as that is what i have done. Zircotech coated manifold. Hot pipe modified to pass in front on manifold and polished and a little heat reflective mat on hot pipe just where radiant will come off manifold, plus a vent in bonnet above manifold to help such out hot air. Eddy

You should be able to find where the noise is with automotive stethoscope or if you don't have one a long screwdriver with your ear to it

I have put reflective tape on my turbo outlet pipe only on the side that faces the exhaust manifold to stop radiant heat from the manifold even though it is ceramic coated, but allowing heat to pass out of the hot pipe to the intercooler. Also i have a vent in my flat bonnet above the manifold...

What is this site coming to! People wanting silly sounds from crap rev limiters etc that damage engines. I have heard of the BEE R doing exactly that. It just scatters/cuts the timing to limit revs. Very dangerous. Also something that i do not get is people wanting the loudest dump valve...

Back on the subject of tyres, the federal RSR should be safe for a while as it has more water channeling than 888, 048 etc. We have decent stocks at the moment. Eddy

It is off a car that was rear end accident damaged. It was running 300bhp+. It had had the turbo rebuilt, but not sure on the spec. Must have been 360 thrust at least as it still has zero play. Let me know. Turbo is still on the engine. Eddy
