Have you tried cleaning the oil and replacing the DV ?? (cheaper than refurbing your tubby) Dials: Common fault probably a loose connection, Id replace these with a known set in good working order. Not expensive and doesnt take long to swap. Steve

well carl although its irrelivant now but you were close, i noticed whilst removing my turbo and manifold i had one bolt missing from the elbow to turbo another was slightly loose.On the manifold, No1 i think was blowing along the bottom of the flange and No3 was blowing all around the flange...

Are you sure the avc-r is set at 1.7bar or is it that its 1.5 and was peaking to 1.7 on the display? Might seem a silly question but some people dont know the difference (no offence to you). Im sure that turbo should hold 2-2.2bar at a push and i cant see 1.7bar been too much for it. Could be...

What about lower boost or CR or higher octane? Maybe try tony bardy for some ideas

How long are your races time/distance? Are you sure its the engine at fault? Ie could this be a by product of something else....mapping, blocked/restricter pipe, a restictive manifold(doubt it) Just examples bob I'm sure they're fine but have you looked at all the options . Steve

Had a quick look the other day. Turbo seems secure carl, but looks like the manifold to head gasket has gone on a vacation! Looks to me as if bits have blown out everywhere! Gonna need to strip it off for a closer look. Do you think that make have been the cause of my lack in performance?

Have you used an RB box?, I think adding my rollcage will have added 30+kg too

Well. Carl I can say I know how you feel. 12.2 yesterday low terminal 112. Very inconsistent. Times 1.9 60ft at best and about 92mph athe the 1/8th. Not sure if the cars got a problem or if its me lol not sure why the low terminals?? Oh well it ll give me something to ponder over the next few...
