Thanks for the reply, but just re-check the wiring and the det senor plug was plugged into the air regulator! must have been a previous owner anyway switched the plugs around and jobs a good un! thanks.
Im currenty having problems with the knock sensor, it keeps throwing up code 34 on data scan.
The code comes up as soon as the car is started and if ecu is re set it comes straight back up.
Ive replaced the knock sensor with a new nissan genuine item also checked and metered the wiring etc and...

Probably only down to low torque from running such a low amount of boost on a big turbo. 1.3 bar on a t28 is ringin its kneck so probably made decent torque hencewhy it felt it had more punch on the t28.
revs will kill rods as u say they will bend then at high rpm, the reason to upgrade the rod bolts is because the bolts are the weakest part of the rod, if your increasing engine power or rebuilding then its a wise move to uprate the bolts if only for peace of mind.
i wouldnt rev much higher than 7,500rpm on the stock rods with arp bolts tbh, these are very heavy best upgrading to pauters or some other lightweight steel rod. Dont get me wrong the standard rods are strong so lbft wont be a problem but they wont last long at high rpm.
wanted urgently, Front passenger side arch trim (black trim that bolts to the wing) must be in very gd condition and have all four studs intact and gd threads, many thanks.
also just noticed your running a gt3076, have u increased the size of the standard fuel pipe? if not then thats your problem. But also re-wire the pump aswell.
you can get a standalone control system for haldex which u can set to 100% lock which will give u a maximum of 50% to the rear wheels but this is only recomended for drag racing and launching, as in this position the car wont like going round corners at all it will behave very unstable round...
They have split open with just about every gear set in them, its just a major weak spot on the pulsar. Ive seen broken cases with quaife, ppg,par and even one with a standard gearset.
I know its helical thats why i asked about the side loading as the quaife will give even more side loading to the case, Im very intrested in one of these cases if only to protect the quaife gear set from getting destroyed. I still think a bit of light drag racing would be fine on the quaife...
cool, keep me update coz if this works i might just have to build another engine (i hope the wife doesnt read this lol) I take it this strengthened case is also suitable for a quaiffe gearset? in terms of the increased side loading from helical gears.
