Sorry for the late reply, not been on the forum recently. Yeah the yellow (not brown) weave is kevlar, the bonnet was bought from CFX, I wouldn’t recommend them, never received the bonnet vents which I paid for!

Done 1000 miles now on my PAR gearset problem free, sometimes have to double declutch when changing down into 3rd, but other than that seems fine. Touch wood! ;)

As above I need an Ignition barrel and key...

Only checked the fan direction arrow on the fan, on closer inspection I realised I'd got the wires the incorrect way round, correct now and the fan is now spinning in the correct direction. Doh!

I've got a custom alloy Pace rad, picture below, is new so wouldn’t be a blockage. I’ll disregard the standard gauge then and monitor the FC Commander read out.

I’m in the process of running my engine in, I’ve done around 250miles so far, seem to have a problem with the water temperature… When driving on open roads the water temperature is around 80degrees according to the FC Commander, when I hit traffic the temperature rises and rises, I’ve seen it...

My engine was rebuilt 4 years ago, due to one reason or another it wasn’t finished until the end of last year, it’s only covered 30 miles since then because of clutch issues. My oil pressure seemed a bit low, so seeing that the oil was 4 years old etc I changed it for Millers 10w 40 running...
