Head without cam caps

Have a guy here with 2 heads for sale but no cam caps, any point buying them off him?

Not unless your going to have new caps fitted and linebored.

That's what i was thinking. If i'd had caps lying around and could test fit them i might concider. Line boring is not as expencive here as in the UK, I guess.

The u shaped pices of metal that go over the cam

Secures the cam to cylinder head

I'm guessing "cam caps" also, it was the first time I'd read this, so just wanted to check it meant what I though it meant!
